Postmodern Metaphor in Ukrainian Mass-Media Discourse.

The research of using metaphors in mass-media discourse is an actual problem of modern linguistics, because metaphor is a way to display the cultural traditions. Language of mass-media discourse of the XXIst century displays the basic ideas of the postmodern. Multidimensionality of this cultural tradition determines the need to study it in linguistic, cognitive, philosophical and other aspects. The scientists devote much attention to the metaphor of postmodern philosophy since rational method of knowing the world is limited.References
