Manuscript preparation requirements and submission procedure.
To be considered for publication in the collection Linguistic Studies, authors must comply with the established standards for manuscript preparation.

The Editorial Board accepts previously unpublished scholarly texts in the fields of linguistics and literary studies. Unsolicited manuscripts are not returned.

By submitting a manuscript to the journal, the author declares that:

a) he/she holds the copyright to the text; the manuscript has no legal encumbrances, has not been previously published in whole or in part, and has not been submitted simultaneously to another journal;

b) he/she grants consent for the publication of the text in Linguistic Studies and for its distribution without temporal or territorial limitations, including marketing of print copies of the journal and both free and paid online distribution;

c) he/she grants free consent for the inclusion, in addition to the text itself, of basic information about the article in the Linguistic Studies online database and other databases cooperating with the Publisher, including the abstract, keywords, and the author’s personal data (name and surname, institutional affiliation, e-mail address).

3. Articles and reviews are accepted in Slavic languages, as well as in English, German, Spanish, and French.

4. The length of articles, including footnotes, references, and abstracts, must not exceed 32,000 characters (including spaces). Reviews must not exceed 10,000 characters (including spaces).

5. Detailed instructions for manuscript preparation are provided below.

6. Submission procedure. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically (MS Word document in DOC/DOCX or RTF format) by e-mail to the Editorial Office: ls.donnu.ukr@gmail.com.

7. Authors will be notified by e-mail within one month regarding the acceptance of the manuscript for publication in Linguistic Studies.

8. All manuscripts are reviewed confidentially and anonymously using a double-blind peer review procedure.

9. Reviewers’ comments are forwarded to the Author, who is obliged to implement the suggested revisions or provide a reasoned justification for not doing so. In the case of two negative reviews, the Editorial Board will reject the manuscript.

10. The Publisher reserves the right to make editorial corrections to submitted texts.

11. The Author is required to complete proofreading within 7 days of receiving the proof. Failure to meet this deadline shall be deemed consent to publish the text in its proofed form.

12. Authors do not receive any royalties for published articles.

13. After publication, the Author receives one complimentary printed copy of the journal Linguistic Studies. All articles published by the journal are available in PDF format on the website: https://jlingst.donnu.edu.ua/index

After successful peer review and acceptance of the article for publication, the Author receives payment details for the publication fee, which covers the costs of editing, proofreading, layout, and assignment of a DOI.
