Abstract

The author makes more exact the list of integral elements of dialects of different origin spread in the Southern Bessarabia, distinguishes sources and ways of borrowings in the Ukrainian dialects of this territory, defines basic models of borrowings according to intermediary languages, paying attention to the history of language contacts of area under investigation. It is established that direct contacts of resettlement idioms in conditions of their long interaction in dynamic language situation doesn’t mean that borrowings in them are also direct. A lot of Bulgarian and Moldavian borrowings in dialects under analysis are highlighted transformation in intermediary languages of Turkish etymons.
